Registration with SEAI (post training)
Students who will take the FETAC BER Assessor for New and Existing Dwellings course (D30189) and achieve 70% score or more (in all exam elements) can proceed to register with SEAI as a BER Assessor upon issue of their FETAC certificate.

To register as a BER Assessor, SEAI's Assessor form should be completed and returned directly to SEAI along with a registration fee of €1,000 by direct debit mandate. An annual fee of €100 will be charged by SEIA for renewal of BER Assessor registration.
All BER Assessors will be required to complete a direct debit mandate in respect of the €25 charge for every BER certificate issued by SEAI.
