The Irish Home Energy Rating (IHER) technical assessor network will offer members the following:
Guaranteed answers to technical queries received by email within 24 hours
Regular updates via regular monthly (or bi-monthly) email bulletins on:
- modifications/ problems with the DEAP 3 software
- modifications to the advisory report
- answers to common technical difficulties that assessors come up against in the field, e.g. rooms in the roof, combi boilers, heat pumps, default efficiencies of older boilers, default U values for walls etc
Access to newer software tools such as Bill's CAROL software (last updated in January 2009) and regular updates of same
Access to updates of our IHER site survey form (just updated in March 2009)Access to updates to sections of IHER Site Assessor manual. This manual was provided to those who've trained with us from December 2008 onward.
